Position type: Full-time - Contract Duration: 13 weeks Location: Dallas, TX Shift: 5x8s, 8:00am - 4:30pm; Monday – Friday; 40hours/week As a Histotechnician, you will: Prepares specimens for microscopic evaluation and diagnosis by performing technical procedures that result in creation of microscopic slide preparation. Operates and maintains Laboratory instrumentation, records and documentation with minimum supervision. Perform variety of technical procedures resulting in creation of microscopic slide preparations. Follow quality control, quality assurance, safety, and infection control procedures. Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies. Maintain effective communication and working relationships with all laboratory personnel, other disciplines, and external customers. The ideal candidate will have: 2 years minimum experience. Additional Notes: Embedding, Microtomy, Special Stains Scrub Color: Any color, no inappropriate prints Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Certification/Degree Requirements: BLS (AHA Only), ASCP (HT or HTL)

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
