Focused on building long-term relationships through a nationwide network of over 1,400 employees and sales partners, the professionals at Herff Jones have been helping elevate the student experience throughout the lifelong journey of education for more than 100 years.What You'll Be Doing On A Daily Basis:Verify inventory quantities against work orders and system records to ensure accuracy.Prepare, process, and distribute production and inventory-related documentation to the appropriate departments.Inspect materials and finished goods for quality, accuracy, proper labeling, and compliance with company standards.Investigate inventory discrepancies, shortages, and incorrect production issues; coordinate corrective actions and inventory adjustments as needed.Maintain accurate inventory records by processing transactions and updates in the inventory management system.Package materials and finished products according to customer specifications and company requirements.Coordinate the movement of materials and finished goods between production, warehouse, and shipping departments.Support shipping operations by ensuring orders are complete, accurate, and delivered on time.Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits.Perform additional inventory control and warehouse duties as assigned.What You'll Bring to the Table:2 to 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, material control, purchasing, or a related field preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.Experience with Oracle, or other ERP/Warehouse Management Systems is a plus.Ability to accurately enter, track, and maintain inventory data.Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Basic math and analytical skills for inventory reconciliation and reporting.Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.Education / Certifications Required:High school diploma or equivalent required.Physical Requirements:Daily activity includes but is not limited to lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.Reading, communication, math.Working at a computer for extended periods of time.Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50lbs.Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to aboveHerff Jones, Inc. and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers and maintain affirmative action plans to recruit, retain, develop, and promote qualified individuals without unlawful consideration of race, gender, gender identity, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, citizenship status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
