Whether food or pharmaceuticals, Neogen's provides a one-stop shop for the health and safety of our animals and our customers' operations.The Formulator sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of the company's product. Responsible for the overall operation of potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the line. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. Compensation starts at $21.00 an hour with shift differentials and opportunity for overtime. Our Formulators work with our Manufacturing Supervisors to maximize production output.Responsibilities Include:Manufacture products according to approved formulas.Maintain accurate batch records and all paperwork required for this position.Operate material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, and barrel handlers.Assist with maintaining organization of warehouse including inventory control.Thoroughly clean manufacturing equipment after each production run.Check all equipment for maintenance issues and cleanliness before starting a new product.Gain a good understanding of the equipment needed to mix the product per formulation.Requirements, Education and/or Experience:Stamina to work 12 hour shifts 3.5 days per week and overtime as needed on Thursdays and/or Fridays.Report to work daily and on-time for scheduled workdays and shift times.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Committed to working and communicating in a team environment.Must communicate effectively with others by speaking, reading, and understanding written English and the ability to write legibly in English.High school diploma, GED equivalent or applicable experience in a manufacturing environment.Preference will be given to candidates who possess experience working in a food or feed manufacturing facility for a minimum of six months, and experience with blending or packaging equipment.Why Apply?Competitive compensation starting at $21.00 an hour.Full benefit package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), short and long-term disability, paid time off and more!Opportunity for Overtime.
