Register patients for a variety of procedures and appointments, and feel the pride of going above and beyond to help others. In this role, you'll obtain demographic details and insurance information, and ensure proper scheduling. You'll record patient history while obtaining pre-certification and authorization for patients. Most importantly, you will be the calm and reassuring presence patients need as they navigate their hospital experience.

The shift for this position is 12am - 8am and this does require some flexibility.

Preferred Criteria

• Completed some college coursework and are familiar with health insurance requirements and clinical coding

Required Criteria

• Qualified candidates have at least one year of clerical experience supported by a high school diploma or GED
• Energetic, approachable individual with a desire to put patients first.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Salary Range:

$34.30-$40.55/Hourly
