Field Survey Technician is a member of the Surveying and Geomatics Business Unit in Woodinville, WA. Our Field Survey Technician will work as a member of a survey crew performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public and private clients. The selected individual will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance of survey equipment, taking field notes, data collection, performing calculations and working with DEA staff and clients on these projects. Involvement in the office will include reducing survey data, performing calculations, copying and filing of this data. What You’ll Do Operation and maintenance of survey equipment Taking field notes and data collection Supports calculations of survey data and mapping Receives instruction from Party Chief or surveyor What You Bring Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required 3+ years of field survey experience Proven ability to work in a team environment Strong work ethic and accountability Clean driving record required (no more than 3 accidents and/or moving violations in the last 36 months or 2 accidents and or moving violations within the last 12 months) Preferred Qualifications Associates or Bachelor’s Degree Trimble Total Station and GPS experience preferred Proficiencies with MS Word and Excel a plus What We Offer We foster an environment where talented professionals have the freedom and support to do their most meaningful work.
