About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years (No new graduates) License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Epic experience, IRF, Med-Surg experience Description: Immediate start date required. Must have RN license on hand. No local candidates will be considered. Long-term care experience is not acceptable. New graduates will not be considered. This facility is a state-of-the-art, 42-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. The hospital is dedicated to helping individuals regain independence following an injury or illness. Rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment tailored to specific needs. Patient recovery includes strokes, brain injuries, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries. The goal is to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation programs. Staffing requirements include a patient ratio of 5:1 for RN/LPN and 7:1 for CNAs. Equipment used includes EPIC and PYXIS EHR systems. The patient population consists primarily of adults, with some geriatric and rehabilitation patients. Qualified candidates will also have experience in inpatient rehabilitation facilities. Preference will be given to those with a background in common diagnoses and treatments related to rehabilitation. A strong personality fit is essential for working within this team-oriented environment.
