This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to start or grow a career in water damage restoration.Work Environment:Fast-growing company with ample opportunities for advancement.Positive and supportive family-like work atmosphere.Regular monthly bonus opportunities.We invest in your training by covering the following certifications, with a six-month commitment to the company after completion:WRT certificationASD certification paid for after 1 year.Key Responsibilities:Perform water damage mitigation and restoration services.Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction.Conduct basic maintenance of equipment and vehicles.Inspect completed work and ensure quality standards are met.Complete technician's daily log and necessary documentation.Maintain the appearance and inventory of company vehicles and supplies.Determine the sequence of steps to be taken when delivering the company's services at the customer's propertyMaintain timely and effective communication and flow of information with Lead Technicians, Supervisors or ManagersQualifications:High school diploma or GED.1+ year of experience in water damage restoration (preferred).Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Certification in Water Mitigation or Mold Remediation (or willingness to get certified).Basic proficiency with computers, email, and mobile devices for reporting and documentation.Basic English reading and writing skills requiredGood mathematical skills to determine appropriate equipment and techniques.Water Damage Restoration Technician: 1 year (Preferred)Basic knowledge of water, fire, and mold damage mitigation principles.Ability to operate mitigation equipment safely and effectively.Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces.Core Competencies:Oral Communication: Clear and respectful communication with customers and superiors. Ability to respond effectively to customer needs.Planning & Organizing: Ability to prioritize tasks and pay attention to detail.Technical Skills: Adequately trained and certified to perform water mitigation services. Quality: Strong attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of work.Written Communication – Writes clear and accurate job notes and emails. The individual is able to read and interpret written information. Uses appropriate vocabulary and grammar.Planning & Organizing – Plans and organizes work activities considering the nature of the job at hand.
