As an Access Control Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, monitoring activity, and responding to security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.75 / Hour Weekly Pay Job Schedule: Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Tue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense manufacturing location. Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and maintain accurate access-related records. Respond to incidents, unauthorized-access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and site personnel while reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
