Here's The Role LCRA is looking for a Category Buyer Sr. to join our Construction Delivery Team in Supply Chain. As a part of the Construction Delivery Team, you will collaborate with partners across the organization to manage sourcing needs for construction-related categories. Our ideal candidate is someone with experience in services procurement and with knowledge of construction, engineering, or environmental services. How You'll Contribute Develop supplier relationships in performance of day-to-day business transactions to ensure performance of contracts and purchase order requirements. Establish and maintain relationships with key collaborators. Provide procurement expertise, analysis, and training to internal and external collaborators when needed. Conduct informal and formal solicitation processes as necessary. Identify and define sourcing options based on LCRA's strategic sourcing process. How You're Qualified Five or more years of experience in procurement, logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management or other relevant experience. How You'll Stand Out Significant background in services purchasing. Understanding of construction, engineering, or environmental services. Proven ability to successfully implement procurement strategies. Strong analytical skills to determine the best sourcing options strictly based on strategic needs.
