Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed physical therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients with diverse needs

• Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, including exercises, activities, and modalities

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, treatment plans, and goals

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop treatment plans

• Perform tasks and duties as assigned by the therapy team, including assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in physical therapy assistant or related field preferred

• Minimum 0 years of experience as a physical therapy assistant; experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred

• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities

• Familiarity with electronic medical records and therapy software
