Hiring Immediately! Material Handler in Huron, OH Starting pay: $ 18.48 per hour + $1.00 shift differential Shift (3rd shift): Monday- Friday, 11 pm-7 am - with occasional over-time required during peak season. Will train on 1st shift for the first few weeks. Full –Time Benefits ( INCLUDING 3 WEEKS PTO) and Bi-Weekly pay.

Job Description

A Material Handler at The Pittsburgh Paints Company receives, ships and handles raw materials, packaging and finished goods as it enters or leaves the site. They are an important team member that helps us meet our strategic goals each and every day. If you are a self-motivated, driven individual, then join our team and become part of our success! Key responsibilities may include:

• Following all safety rules, processes and procedures.
• Receiving and handling raw materials needed for production.
• Loading and unloading trailers, following dock safety procedures.
• Operating robotic palletizers, stretch wrappers, conveyors.
• Maintaining clean and orderly work areas.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience operating material handling equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Follow detailed instructions and record progress.
• Operate material handling equipment, hoists and other equipment.
• Work in a team environment and take ownership over assigned area of responsibility.
