Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required. License: Current RN license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: - Travel experience required. - Unit does not accept first-time travelers. - Previous charge experience preferred. - Patient ratio experience of 4:1 is required. Description: The position involves providing care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. Nurses will work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily patient census in the unit is approximately 265. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is necessary, including physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. Travelers are expected to work major holidays as required. Compliance with all onboarding requirements is mandatory to start on time. Full compliance is required prior to the beginning of the contract. Unit may require floating within facility/scope of practice as needed.
