Job Description

We are seeking experienced PIT / Machine Operators with recent hands-on experience operating Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, or Ride-On Pallet Jacks. Candidates will undergo an interview with a operations manager followed by a live PIT test. Operators must be capable of working in warehouse environments that include chill and freezer areas. Weekend work is mandatory, and flexibility for other shifts is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, and Electric Pallet Jacks effectively.
• Perform order picking using manual and electric pallet jacks.
• Utilize RF scanners for inventory management.
• Work efficiently in various warehouse environments, including dry, chill, and freezer areas.
• Participate in a live PIT test following the interview.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3+ months PIT experience within the last 12 months.
• Ability to clearly describe previous employers, machines operated, and dates of operation.
• Must pass E-Verify.
• Understanding of the interview and PIT testing process.
• Punctuality and professional preparedness.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic warehouse setting that includes dry areas, chill environments (32–45°F), and freezers (-10°F). Operators must be fully willing to work in all temperature zones. Schedules vary by department and machinery operated.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clifton, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
