Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Title: RN – Emergency Room (ER) Location: Brownwood, TX 76801 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | May consider 36 hrs/week Requirements: Minimum 2 years of ER experience Previous travel nursing experience required ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC required Patient ratio: 1:4 Allscripts experience preferred Community hospital experience preferred General Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric patients 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule One on-call shift per 6-week schedule Description: Provides emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups, from neonates and infants to adults and geriatrics. Responsibilities include triage, patient assessment, cardiac monitoring, EKGs, IV therapy, emergency medication administration, procedural sedation, respiratory support, and management of acute medical, neurological, psychiatric, and trauma conditions. The department has approximately 70 patient visits per day with an 18-bed capacity.
