IT Business Systems Analyst II (BSA II)

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, OR related field OR
• 4 years of relevant work experience OR
• 2 years of relevant experience + Associate's degree in a related field

Required Experience

• Minimum 4 years of IT Business Analysis experience

Role Overview

The BSA II is a critical role supporting development/coding teams, responsible for:

• Requirements analysis
• Solution design
• Validation of integrated workflows

Key Responsibilities

• Define customer needs in both technical and business contexts
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives
• Support planning and prioritization of business-related activities
• Collaborate with development teams on workflow integration

Day-to-Day Activities

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Validate system functionality against requirements
• Work closely with stakeholders and technical teams
• Support agile delivery and project lifecycle activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in: Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel
• Experience with: Agile & Waterfall methodologies, Healthcare domain (Medicare/Medicaid preferred), API / Automated Processing Systems integration, AWS / Cloud platforms, Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, AI tools (automation, analytics, decision support)
• Strong understanding of: Business processes and IT alignment, System design and workflows
• Ability to: Communicate complex concepts to technical & non-technical stakeholders, Analyze, interpret, and document requirements, Review test plans, project plans, and design documents

Certifications (Required – One of the Following Active)

• CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner)
• A-CSPO
• PMI-ACP
• CSP-PO

Highly Preferred Certifications

• SAFe Scaled Agile Certification
• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
• Evidence of continuous learning in Business Analysis
