MRI Technologist - Per Diem

Role: MRI Technologist responsible for performing high-quality MR studies, ensuring patient safety, and effective communication with radiologists, team members, and patients both onsite and remotely. Responsibilities Conduct pre-screening for contraindications and maintain aseptic techniques. Produce diagnostic-quality images using multiple MR systems. Train and orient new technologists, Patient Coordinators, and Assistants. Communicate effectively to resolve concerns, solve problems, and handle conflicts. Ensure patient safety and assist in remote MR Technologist Oversight as needed. Perform duties related to mobile environment operations and patient transfers. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent; ARRT(MR), ARMRIT, or similar registration. State license and CPR certification if applicable. Supervised MRI clinical experience or enrollment in MRI training program. Strong customer service, organizational, and multi-tasking skills. Basic computer skills; ability to work at multiple locations. Preferred: Associate's Degree, ARRT registry, and one year MRI experience. Physical & Other Requirements Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting, standing, and patient transfers; exposure to magnetic fields and potential biohazards; and flexibility to work in various environments.
