PATIENT AMBASSADOR (FULL TIME)

Job Summary We are hiring immediately for a full‑time PATIENT AMBASSADOR position at UChicago Medicine, 5841 South Maryland Avenue, Chicago, IL 60637. Online applications only are accepted. Pay Range: $18.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct new admission visits to all assigned units within the timeframe established by unit leadership. Ensure all employees demonstrate a hospitality orientation toward customers and clients. Support client satisfaction to ensure account retention. Promote client awareness of the Patient Experience Program. Assist in customizing programs to meet each account's unique needs as required. Assist in developing and monitoring a department/unit patient satisfaction action plan and reporting to clients as needed. Assist in effective employee relations programs at unit site. Encourage employee creativity and innovation. Provide recognition for employees when programs are implemented with success. Perform housekeeping tasks when requested by customers or patients. Resolve housekeeping issues that do not meet standards and ensure timely completion of tasks. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Possess thorough knowledge of office procedures and contract administration. Ability to use working knowledge of the environment to meet established goals and objectives.
