RN - ICU (Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (Wednesday through Saturday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served in the ICU
• Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with unit standards of care
• Demonstrate performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and organization
• Maintain flexibility to changing systems while demonstrating quality and effectiveness in clinical practice
• Treat staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the State of California
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS Certification required
• PALS Certification required (or obtainable within six months of hire)
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of two years of documented ICU experience and/or completion of an approved ICU training course including didactic and clinical components
• CCRN certification encouraged
