Shift: Shift 1

Shift Details: This job consists of 40 hours per week within the clinic hours of 7am-7pm M-Th and Fridays 7-5 pm. Working at least two closing shifts until 7pm and Fridays until 5pm is required. No weekend or holiday requirements.


Job Summary:

• The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive physical therapy services to the patient by assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care and treatment programs.
• Experience meaningful one-on-one interactions with patients as you support their progress and see the impact you make firsthand. You'll also benefit from reasonable productivity expectations within a supportive, team-oriented environment.
• The therapist participates in varied Rehabilitation Services department activities designed to enhance patient care and programs.
• A Physical Therapist II demonstrates advanced evaluation and treatment skills and is involved in program development, staff education, student supervision.
• Also demonstrates emerging leadership skills and mentors department staff. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of two years of clinical Therapist experience meeting requirements of Level I responsibilities as determined by interview and assessment.


EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program is required.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Must be proficient at all PT level 1 competencies, maintain productivity level and have the potential to take on additional responsibilities. May require clinical expertise in specific discipline.


LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
WI state license as a Physical Therapist is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 3 months of hire. RN/OT/PT/SLP, preferred.
