Seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to support students and staff on a per diem basis near Northbrook, IL. Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Professional Educator License (PEL) or valid Substitute License required
• Previous experience working with children or in a school environment is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to various classroom settings
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Flexibility to work on a per diem schedule

Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers with instructional activities
• Assist students with assignments and guided learning
• Provide individualized attention to students as directed
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assist with classroom management and organization
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other activities as needed
• Follow school policies and procedures to ensure a safe learning space
