Cardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Bowling Green, OH. This role manages inventory, fulfill orders, and maintains a safe warehouse environment.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join a dynamic and growing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of products within our warehouses, with a flexible schedule accommodating the rotational nature of the positions.

Available shifts 1st shift 8AM to 4:30PM (Overtime possible)
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments while accurately updating inventory systems.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies to maintain accuracy.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures.
• Verify accuracy of outgoing shipments and ensure proper documentation, including international shipping requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and processing.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while following all safety protocols.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to improve efficiency and workflow.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding inventory, order, or operational issues.
• Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Manage tool crib operations, including issuing, receiving, storing, and tracking tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with buyers to track, replenish, and order spare parts and maintain accurate inventory records.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, safely and efficiently.
• Shipping and Receiving experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
