People like you!Job Description SummaryKey Responsibilities:Ability to safely operate a sit down forklift while maintaining a valid forklift certificationMust be comfortable working outside in the elementsCommunicate with drivers to ensure the accuracy of the load as well as safety requirements for loading/unloading materialsAbility to think on your feet in identifying from the pick list where the material is located either in the yard or warehouseIdentifying what needs to be double stacked in the yard versus single stackedIdentify where to double stack the materialUtilize the chart of the North and South yard as a map/guideIdentify where product is located in the yard by utilizing the identifying signsGuide the truck drivers where they need to go in order to be safely loaded/unloadedQualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredMust be legally authorized to work in U.S.Must be able to pass a forklift certification class and test. Must have a minimum of 1 year sit down forklift experience.Must be able to read a pick listMust be able to work overtime as necessary, which could include weekendsMust be able to pass a fit for duty PhysicalMust be able to lift up to 76 lbs. unassistedMust be willing to operate Track Mobile (Locomotive) and be willing to operate in a rail environment.Benefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
