Position Overview As an Applebee’s® Assistant Manager, you will lead day‑to‑day operations, cultivate a culture of care, and ensure guests and staff have a positive experience. Duties and Responsibilities Deliver timely, friendly service in line with company guidelines. Enforce Flynn’s core values and maintain a culture of excellence. Respond promptly to guest complaints and conduct table visits as required. Control departmental inventory and perform line checks to meet quality standards. Schedule staff to meet sales and service demands. Maintain safety, security, and sanitation compliance. Report maintenance issues to management promptly. Recruit, train, and develop team members using company programs. Monitor performance, document evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback. Enforce company policies, including discipline and corrective actions. Control costs and monitor local, state and federal regulations. Conduct bi‑weekly or weekly food and liquor inventories. Complete accurate daily paperwork and sanitize according to health standards. Model leadership for managers and staff. Learn all store technology systems. Assist in all restaurant positions as needed. Participate in the Management Development Program. Education and Experience Minimum 2–3 years of restaurant management experience. Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications are a plus. Compensation $15.38 – $26.44 per hour ($44,850 – $68,500 annually for a 50‑hour work week). Potential monthly bonus where applicable. Physical Standards Work various shifts, including weekends. Stand and move continuously for up to ten hours. Lift up to 50 pounds. Read, write, and use small tools.
