Job Description

CTR Group is seeking a Designer 4 local to the Pascagoula, MS area.Immediate openings and urgently hiring!

Pay: $40 to $44 depending on experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design new piping system components or modify existing designs to support product development and manufacturing needs.
• Utilize CAD software and related graphic tools to prepare drawings, layouts, and design documentation.
• Gather technical information, perform studies, complete calculations, and prepare preliminary design concepts.
• Coordinate design criteria with crossfunctional groups to ensure manufacturability, material compatibility, and compliance with specifications.
• Apply extensive knowledge of specialized functions and broad understanding of jobrelated principles to solve complex design challenges.
• Work with minimal supervision and exercise judgment where procedures may not be fully established.
• Provide guidance, orientation, or training to less experienced team members as needed; may serve as a lead worker on assigned tasks.
• Serve as a resource for resolving technical issues and supporting project objectives.
• Communicate frequently with internal stakeholders and external partners; interactions may require planning, negotiation, and effective communication skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate degree or other twoyear technical degree in a related discipline and typically 6+ years of relevant experience, or
• High school diploma/equivalent and typically 10+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, ShipConstructor, or Navisworks
• Ability to perform complex design tasks with limited supervision
