As an Endoscopy Technician with Gastro Health, you will: Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure safe and efficient endoscopic procedures. Assist physicians and nursing staff before, during, and after procedures while providing a safe, supportive environment for patients. Monitor patient needs throughout the procedure and promptly report concerns or changes to the Registered Nurse or Nurse Manager. Clean, disinfect, inspect, and maintain endoscopy equipment in accordance with infection prevention and safety standards. Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain endoscopy and patient monitoring equipment. Help maintain adequate inventory levels of supplies and equipment. Accurately complete required documentation and maintain endoscopy records. Recognize the limits of the Endoscopy Technician role and promptly communicate situations requiring nursing or physician intervention. Report safety concerns, equipment issues, and errors in accordance with established policies. Participate in quality improvement, infection prevention, safety, and materials management initiatives. Communicate effectively and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team. Follow established policies, procedures, and the direction of supervisors and physicians. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Candidate Requirements High school diploma is required. Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required. Entry-level training will be provided for the right candidate. GI experience preferred. We offer more than a paycheck.
