Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy to patients, following treatment plans developed by the oncology team.
• Operate Varian Trubeam Linac equipment, ensuring proper setup, delivery, and safety protocols.
• Position patients and apply immobilization devices as needed to achieve accurate treatment fields.
• Verify treatment fields, energies, and parameters; perform routine quality assurance checks on equipment.
• Document all treatment sessions in the ARIA charting system and coordinate with the care team on patient status and side effects.
• Monitor patient tolerance, report adverse events, and participate in ongoing care coordination with physicians, dosimetrists, and therapists.

Requirements

• BLS certification
• Varian Trubeam Linac experience preferred
• Experience with ARIA charting system
• Ability to work Mon-Fri, 8-hour shifts
• Comfortable working in a hospital-based setting
