Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, facilitating a flexible work environment that adapts to the needs of our clients and team members. Our social workers utilize modern communication technologies to connect with clients, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care. Working from home during regular school hours, approximately 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours allows for effective engagement with families and educational staff as required.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and preferences of children and their families.

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating feedback from families and educational stakeholders to address specific educational or emotional challenges.
  • \n
  • Provide counseling and emotional support to clients while employing therapeutic techniques tailored to children and adolescents.
  • \n
  • Act as an advocate for clients, facilitating access to educational resources, mental health services, and community programs.
  • \n
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, school counselors, and multidisciplinary teams to provide an integrated approach to client care.

  • Monitor clients' progress through regular virtual check-ins, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

  • Educate families about effective coping strategies, available community resources, and local support groups to promote resilience.

  • Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to HIPAA regulations and best practices.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development and stay informed about the latest trends in social work and education.

  • Participate in case conferences and collaborate with professionals to advocate for client needs effectively.

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents in school settings, addressing a variety of issues such as behavioral challenges, social integration, anxiety, and family dynamics. The licensed social worker will work closely with clients and their families to foster a supportive environment that nurtures academic success and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as a Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Colorado.

Compensation and Benefits\n
