PRIMARY FUNCTION:

To maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and production systems

to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient plant operations. Support production by

performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.

DUTIES/PRINCIPLE PREFERRED:

1. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

2. Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facilities.

3. Diagnose issues using testing devices, schematics, and technical manuals.

4. Repair motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, and production equipment.

5. Maintain PLC-controlled systems and automated machinery.

6. Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to reduce production downtime.

7. Perform welding, fabrication, and minor machining as required.

8. Help install new equipment and production lines.

9. Maintain accurate maintenance logs.

10. Follow and enforce plant safety procedures and OSHA standards.

11. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

High School Diploma or GED; Technical or School certification preferred.

1+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, industrial electrical systems.

Experience reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Hydraulic, Electrical, Pneumatic, HVAC, and Mechanical training or experience.

Ability to use diagnostic tools.

Basic welding and fabrication skills

Problem solving skills.

Physical strength for climbing, and manipulating tools, and equipment.

Ability to lift 50+lbs. and work in industrial conditions.
