Industrial Laborer
Manpower in Huntington, WV is seeking a reliable and motivated Industrial Laborer to join our team in the manufacturing of railroad parts. This position involves hands-on work in a production environment, assisting with a variety of tasks including general labor, equipment operation, cleanup, maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor tasks related to the production of railroad components
- Operate basic machinery and tools as needed (training provided)
- Assist in the assembly, inspection, and packaging of manufactured parts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and workspaces
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Support team members and supervisors with additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in manufacturing or general labor is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
