Location: Duluth, MN (Multiple facilities including St. Marys Medical Center and Essentia Health facilities)

Start Date: 07/17/2026

Duration: Ongoing positions; open weeks starting August 31st

Shift: Mon-Fri, 8, 10, or 12 hours; weekends optional with 12-16 hour shifts

Hours/week: Varies based on schedules

Employment Type: Full-Time

License/Certifications: MN RN Anesthetist License, BCLS/ACLS, NBCRNA certified or eligible

Experience: Preferably graduate of accredited anesthesia program; prior anesthesia practice preferred

Hourly Rate: $245–$310 (orientation rate up to 60% of hourly rate)

What You'll Do

• Provide anesthesia for diverse surgical cases, including operating rooms, cath labs, GI, EP, MRI, and CT procedures
• Deliver one-on-one patient care to all age groups in a Level 1 trauma environment
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists in a medically directed practice
• Manage 1-2 longer cases or 3-4 shorter cases per day on average
• Support busy surgical schedules at multiple facilities
• Participate in occasional weekend shifts as needed
• Ensure adherence to all safety and protocol standards

What You Need

• Required:
• Graduate (Master's or Doctorate) from an accredited anesthesia program
• Current or eligible Minnesota RN Anesthetist license
• Certification in CPR, BCLS, ACLS
• Certification by the NBCRNA (or in process)
• Preferred:
• Prior anesthesia work experience in a trauma or hospital setting
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
