Operating Room Registered Nurse

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specialized in Operating Room to provide exceptional perioperative care. This role involves supporting surgical teams in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining clinical excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and prepare patients for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary documentation and equipment are ready.
• Assist surgeons and staff during surgeries, maintaining sterile field and adhering to safety protocols.
• Monitor patient vitals throughout procedures and respond promptly to any changes.
• Document all relevant clinical information accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Comply with facility policies, including drug screening and compliance requirements.
• Complete required labs and certifications within specified timeframes, including orientation modules.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license with clinical experience in the operating room.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of OR nursing experience within the specified service line.
• Possess craniotomy and burr hole experience, along with trauma, neuro/spine, or orthopedic surgical knowledge.
• Be certified in relevant specialties, with verification upon submission.
• Be able to work 3x12s or 4x10s shift schedules, with flexibility based on facility needs.
• Maintain compliance with travel and local radius policies, including drug screening requirements.
