MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center is a 25‑bed critical access hospital that provides vital lifesaving link to rural communities in Clayton County through ambulance and emergency services. The emergency department is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week with board‑certified physicians and advanced level practitioners skilled in treating emergency needs. Dubuque Medical Center is a Level IV Trauma Center certified by the Iowa Department of Public Health. Employment Details Employment Type: Full‑time Shift: Rotating shift (day and night). Minimum educational requirement: Associate’s degree in Nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Certification by a nationally recognized nursing organization preferred and strongly encouraged. Completion of Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training within six months of hire and every three years thereafter. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire and every two years thereafter. Membership in an appropriate professional nursing organization recommended.
