About the Role:

As a Certified Medical Technician (CMT) at HERMITAGE NURSING & REHAB, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collecting and processing lab specimens, processing and labeling blood samples, and performing basic laboratory tests under the supervision of a licensed medical professional

• Assisting physicians and other healthcare practitioners with patients' care and treatment plans

• Monitoring and reporting patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and oxygen saturation

• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient information, test results, and treatments

• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care

• Collaborating with healthcare staff to provide comprehensive care to our residents

Requirements:

• Certified Medical Technician (CMT) certification

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

• One to two years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care facility

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals
