Financial Analyst

Pay Range: $45 - $50/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and revenue reports
• Develop recurring and ad hoc financial reports using Excel
• Assist with quarterly financial reporting and regulatory deliverables
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and business insights
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Collaborate with finance and business partners to meet reporting deadlines

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills; 8 years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience
• Experience supporting healthcare, managed care, Medicaid, or other regulated industries
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadline
• Experience with financial ERP systems (PeopleSoft, OneStream, or similar platforms).
• Knowledge of grants, federal funding, or government reimbursement programs.
• Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Bachelor's degree
