Forklift Operator

Role Purpose Your role is to operate forklifts to move stock within the warehouse, load/unload shipments, and support the efficient movement of goods. You will work in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment using stand‑up, sit‑down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. Shift & Compensation Second shift (5:00 pm–3:30 am), Monday–Thursday. Overtime required per business needs. Pay: $20.35 per hour, plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential and a $2.25 per hour freezer incentive. Key Accountabilities Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various forklifts or power equipment (approx. 80% of shift). Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring correct quantity and product type. Maintain accurate records and reports for inventory control. Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards. Verify load accuracy, check count, stability, and damage; report variances. Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power sources. Keep equipment and materials in a neat, clean, orderly condition. Assist in physical inventories. Complete daily equipment inspections. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year operating a Reach Truck. Minimum 1 year operating a Dock Stocker. Minimum 6 months experience using an RF Scanner. Minimum 6 months experience with Warehouse Management Systems such as Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP, or AS400. Forklift operator certificate or completion of a forklift‑training program within 30 days of hire. High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred). Six months warehouse experience (preferred). Six months forklift operation experience. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 6 months experience operating an Order Picker or Cherry Picker. Shift & Physical Requirements Use of RF Scanner and case picking. Lifting up to 35 lbs. Ability to work in freezer/cooler environment. Position Second shift (2nd) Forklift Operator.
