Quality Inspector

Job Title: Inspector

Shift:

1st 4:30am-1:00pm Monday-Friday $19/hr

2nd 1:30pm-10:00pm Monday-Friday $19.95

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of small parts and components to ensure they meet quality and specification requirements.

• Conduct quality checks on molded silicone components used in implantable medical devices and related products.

• Use microscopes, gauges, and small hand tools to inspect parts and verify part quality.

• Support molding operations by working with molds, presses, and related equipment to produce silicone rubber components.

• Monitor molding machines and other production equipment and communicate any issues or abnormalities to leads or supervisors.

• Handle materials, including loading and unloading parts, organizing inventory, and moving materials within the production area.

• Follow GMP and clean room procedures, including proper gowning, handling of components, and contamination control.

• Adhere to safety training and guidelines, including safe use of equipment such as molding machines and brake press machines where applicable.

• Troubleshoot basic issues related to part quality or equipment performance and escalate more complex issues appropriately.

• Collaborate with team members on the production floor and communicate clearly about quality concerns, process deviations, or equipment problems.

• Maintain a clean, organized work area within the clean room and follow all housekeeping and 5S-related expectations.

• Work scheduled shifts and required overtime, including Saturday shifts, to support production demands.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincolnshire, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.95/hr.
