Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Missoula, MT
Type: Contract | 13 Weeks

Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 4x10 Hours | 40 Hours Per Week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for an exciting Travel job in Missoula, MT.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.

• Operate ultrasound equipment and obtain accurate diagnostic images.

• Evaluate image quality and ensure studies are completed appropriately.

• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout procedures.

• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the EPIC electronic medical record system.

• Follow established facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in on-call coverage and support patient care needs as required.

• Float between units and departments as needed to support operational requirements.

• Maintain equipment functionality and report equipment concerns appropriately.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

• Current ARDMS Certification or equivalent certification as required.

• Current BLS Certification.

• Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and anatomy.

• Ability to perform and evaluate diagnostic ultrasound examinations independently.

• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

• Experience with EPIC charting preferred.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.

• Experience in an acute care hospital setting.

• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center environment.

• First-time travelers accepted.

Additional Requirements

• On-call coverage required (1–3 nights per week).

• Occasional weekend day or night coverage required.

• Floating between units may be required.
