Field service technician

job summary:
Growing manufacturer is seeking a Field Service Technician to add to their team in the Greater Atlanta area. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of field service experience doing troubleshooting and repair of electromechanical equipment and an Associates degree or equivalent certificate. Three phase machine troubleshooting experience preferred. Willingness to travel weekly required. No weekends or on-call. Excellent benefits, company vehicle and PTO!

responsibilities:

• Perform installation, repair, retrofits, upgrades, calibration and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment

• Travel throughout a territory including Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee

• Customer interaction, including promoting service contracts

• Maintain service inventory

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in electronics or similar; or certificate or military experience

• At least 2 years of field service experience with an electromechanical focus

• Electronic trouble-shooting skills, knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, and a strong mechanical aptitude

• Ability to read and interpret Electronic Schematics and Wiring Diagrams, and Pneumatic and Hydraulic
  Diagrams

• Experience with troubleshooting and repair of 3 phase machines preferred

• Ability to lift and transport 80 pounds

• Ability to travel overnight as required
