About the Role Join Streck’s Operations team as a Processing Supervisor, where you’ll lead a skilled team responsible for the initial processing of incoming cellular components in a regulated biomedical environment. What You’ll Do: Oversee the processing of RBC cellular components, ensuring all work follows Standard Operating Procedures and Quality System Requirements. Maintain hands-on competency across all processing steps; step in to support or cover Technicians when needed. Enforce strict aseptic technique and clean room standards to meet sterility requirements. Plan and schedule all departmental functions — including production schedules, staff time off, overtime, and team meetings. Manage raw material and supply inventories to keep production running on schedule; initiate purchase requests as needed. Ensure all process documentation is accurate, legible, and completed on time. Review and revise departmental SOPs and work instructions for alignment with FDA and ISO Quality Systems. Partner with other production departments to solve cross-functional challenges and meet production targets. Lead recruiting, interviewing, and hiring for the department; conduct regular 1-on-1s and performance reviews. Champion continuous improvement by surfacing ideas for cost reduction, equipment upgrades, and efficiency gains. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field, or an Associate’s degree with relevant hands-on experience. Experience in an FDA/ISO-regulated environment; prior supervisory experience is preferred. Dependable, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and communication skills — both written and verbal. Ability to operate lab equipment including centrifuges, bench scales, and peristaltic pumps. Comfortable with occasional physical demands: lifting up to 40 lbs, extended standing, and working in laboratory attire.
