Key Responsibilities

• Work shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 8 hours, Mondays and Wednesdays for 8 hours, and Fridays for 5 hours.
• Provide care to adults in a county jail and adolescents in a juvenile detention facility.
• Operate within a correctional healthcare environment, including jails and juvenile detention centers.
• Stabilize patients within the first 24 hours of their incarceration.
• Manage medication withdrawal and acute psychiatric stabilization.
• Hospital privileges are mandatory.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Preferred experience in emergency psychiatry or crisis stabilization.
• Comfortable with the stabilization process for newly incarcerated patients.

Compensation

Hourly rates range from $185.00 to $220.00 .
