Independent Operator Role Hands‑on entrepreneurial position where you own and manage your Grocery Outlet store. Autonomy to run business while benefiting from brand support. Key Responsibilities Store operations: daily functions, inventory, compliance, financial oversight. Leadership & team development: recruit, hire, train high‑performing team. Buying & merchandising: order product variety and quantity to meet local community preferences. Community engagement: support local organizations and causes aligning with mission. Financial & business acumen: manage sales, margins, expenses, overall profitability. Customer experience: maintain clean, organized, well‑stocked store. Operational autonomy: run store according to community, employees, business needs. Uncapped earning potential: commission increases with store sales.
