Compensation General Service Technicians: base $15.54 – $23.02 per hour (guideline; final based on experience and location) Automotive Repair Technicians – A: $24.99 – $36.92 per hour flat rate + 30‑hour billable week guarantee Automotive Repair Technicians – B: $22.29 – $32.95 per hour flat rate + 20‑hour billable week guarantee Automotive Repair Technicians – C: $19.50 – $31.94 per hour flat rate + 20‑hour billable week guarantee All repair technicians may earn a productivity incentive bonus of $250 – $550 on each biweekly paycheck. What you will do on the AAA Team General Service Technicians Perform fluid flushes and replacements, visual vehicle inspections, belt and hose replacements, battery testing and replacements, and general automotive repairs. Clean and maintain test equipment and machines. Empty portable fluid drains into bulk waste fluid storage tanks and clean portable drains according to shop guidelines. Mount, balance, and install tires. Maintain knowledge of general automotive skills and develop additional technical skills for flexibility in work assignments. Automotive Repair Technicians Accurately perform maintenance and advanced automotive repairs/diagnosis for engine, automatic/manual transmissions, suspension/steering, brakes, ABS/traction control, electrical, and heating/AC systems. Maintain in‑depth knowledge of specialized skills and continue to develop additional technical skills for flexibility in work assignments. Keep a clean, well‑organized work area and properly maintain tools and equipment. Follow safety procedures as outlined in safety information supplied by each equipment manufacturer and corporate safety policies. Organize work presented and plan for the highest efficiency in the performance of all job functions, including vehicle movement. Accurately perform repairs and maintenance on all vehicles as specified in manufacturer‑designed procedures or accepted industry practices. What you need to succeed Ability to accurately repair vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic equipment and provide technical guidance (previous experience as an Automotive Technician). Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications or ability to obtain within 12 months (paid by AAA). Ability to lift up to 75lbs and stand for prolonged periods. Valid driver’s license. Availability to work Saturdays as part of the regular schedule; the workweek includes five workdays with one scheduled day off and Sundays off. Completion of satisfactory pre‑employment screenings (background check, drug screening, fitness for duty assessment). Authorization to work in the USA.
