Job Summary: As a member of the surgical team provides technical assistance to the surgeon/physician during surgical intervention under the supervision of the RN. When not directly assisting the physician in a procedure may participate in the rendering of patient care under the direction of the Surgical Assistant Coordinator or a Registered Nurse.

Requirements: Entry level knowledge basic employment skills High School diploma or GED equivalent 1-3 years experience Surgical equipment and instruments Hospital computer systems Accredited Surgical Technology Course Certificate Surgical Technologist Certification preferred.
