Disability Associate Medical Director

Seeking an experienced, board-certified physician, the part-time Disability Associate Medical Director will provide clinical leadership and oversight for Disability review programs, focusing on physician reviewer performance and quality assurance in a remote, independent contractor capacity. Key responsibilities Provide clinical guidance and oversight for Disability review programs Evaluate physician reviewer performance and ensure quality assurance Collaborate with internal teams and clients to drive continuous process improvement Required qualifications MD or DO with board certification Active, unrestricted medical license Prior Disability experience with a carrier, TPA, or independent review organization (IRO) Strong clinical judgment to assess quality and consistency of physician determinations Ability to work independently and manage time-sensitive clinical escalations
