About the job

Duties/Responsibilities

• Washes and sanitizes dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment or by hand.
• Ensures all items are cleaned thoroughly and returned to their proper storage areas.
• Keeps dishwashing area, sinks, and floors clean and organized at all times.
• Takes out trash and recycling, and assists with cleaning kitchen and storage areas.
• Follows all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assists kitchen staff with basic prep work or restocking supplies when needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Understanding of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods standing and walking in a hot, humid kitchen environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand motions.
• May need to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule.
