Front Load Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Front Load Driver to join our team in Waycross, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating front load garbage trucks to collect commercial and residential waste efficiently and safely, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company policies and local regulations. Key Responsibilities Operate front load garbage trucks to collect commercial and residential waste according to assigned routes and schedules. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper functioning. Load and unload waste containers using the truck’s hydraulic lift system. Maintain accurate records of routes, pickups, and any incidents or issues encountered during the shift. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe operation of the vehicle. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers as needed. Report any mechanical problems or accidents promptly to management. Assist with maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B or higher with appropriate endorsements. 2 Years minimum experience with CDL Proven experience operating front load garbage trucks or similar heavy equipment preferred. Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Good communication and customer service skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed. This position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions and requires physical stamina. The role includes operating heavy machinery and interacting with customers and team members regularly.
