Radiology Technologist

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Radiology Technologist to work at our main hospital in Bolivar, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long‑Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. About the department Utilizing the newest state‑of‑the‑art equipment and technologies, the Radiology Department provides 24/7 diagnostic imaging services to meet the needs of a wide variety of patients at both the hospital and Outpatient Imaging Center. Examinations are performed on both a scheduled and emergent basis and may include diagnostic radiology, mammography, vascular and echocardiography ultrasound, PET and CT, and MRI. A typical day will include Performing routine and specialized x‑ray examinations in both the hospital and Outpatient Imaging Center. Preparing patients for examinations, positioning and/or immobilizing the patient in accordance with the type of procedure to be administered, and while considering the safety, physical, and psychological needs of the patient. Performing examination, adjusting control panel settings, such as voltage, amperage, and time of exposure, as necessary. Processing data assuring optimal imaging has been achieved prior to discharge of the patient, re‑imaging as necessary. Assisting Radiologist and Medical Staff as required, preparing solutions using sterile techniques and administering barium and IV contrast solutions. Job Requirements Education: Completion of a Radiology Technologist program with an Associates Degree from an accredited institution. Experience: Prior experience performing CT is preferred, but training can be provided. Skills: Verbal and non‑verbal communication, examination skills, patient safety. Licensure/Certification: Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Position Type Full‑time nights w/ shift differential - 11pm-7am.
