Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

We are seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. This position is for night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week. The unit is a high-risk Labor and Delivery facility. There are 16 labor rooms, 6 triage rooms, and a level 3 NICU. The facility provides care for OB patients greater than 20 weeks. Care is provided in a teaching environment with resident coverage. Common patient complaints include preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and multiple gestations. An OR team manages scheduled C-sections and additional cases during the day. Anesthesia is available in-house 24/7. External cephalic versions are performed during daytime hours. The average daily census is around 15 patients. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2 during all shifts. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Documentation is completed using EPIC and OBTV systems. The facility is smoke and nicotine-free. Candidates must have previous experience in a similar setting. First-time travelers are welcomed to apply.
