Social Media Content Creator

Rocky Mountain Synod

This role will focus primarily on communicating the story of Holy Shepherd to the community beyond the congregation. This requires a familiarity with how organizations (especially churches) are portrayed on social media, familiarity with video taking and editing, a willingness to engage congregation members to tell stories, and a capacity to tend to where and how Holy Shepherd is appearing on various social media apps. The person in this position will: Create content including shorts/videos/other special media based on themes in consultation with staff Show up at events for picture taking, video footage, interviews Work with staff to identify themes to share, events to cover, questions to use to elicit stories from the congregation Reach out to church groups, staff to share their stories Post on various platforms including: Facebook, NextDoor, Instagram, TikTok, Linked-In #J-18808-Ljbffr Rocky Mountain Synod
