Contract | 12-Hour Rotating Day/Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | No Call | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary emergency department care for patients experiencing trauma or acute illness requiring emergency attention
• Perform and assist with clinical procedures including IV insertion, Foley catheter insertion, and nasogastric tube placement
• Assist providers with orthopedic and suture procedures
• Utilize EMR (Epic), telemedicine, Lifepak 12, and remote pharmacy systems during nights and weekends
• Provide backup support for outpatient infusion therapy, same-day surgery, and medical-surgical patients as needed
• Float to the Medical-Surgical unit as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Minimum prior Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Proficiency in IV insertion, Foley catheter insertion, and NG tube placement
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current TNCC or CALS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a critical access or small-volume emergency department setting
• Familiarity with Epic EMR and telemedicine platforms
• Experience supporting medical-surgical patient populations
